SERVING UKRAINE IN KAMIANSKE AND NIKOLAEVKA

HOPE AMIDST THE CONFLICT

In spite of the disruptions of war, our ministries in Ukraine remain active. The Left Bank Church (Light of the Gospel) and Right Bank Church (Light of the World) continue to minister to local people and refugees alike in Kamianske and Nikolaevka.

THE LEFT BANK CHURCH (LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL)

Our Chaplaincy Team has traveled to the front lines, delivering much-needed supplies, heartfelt prayers, and the warmth of genuine fellowship to soldiers. In moments of peace, church members come together to savor good food and each other’s company—rare moments that allow them to forget the war, if only for a little while.

THE RIGHT BANK CHURCH (LIGHT OF THE WORLD)

The Right Bank Church is a vibrant and caring community committed to serving both God and our neighbors. Each week, our members reach out through Thursday Outreaches, providing encouragement, prayer, and practical support to people in the surrounding community. Their Seniors Ministry meets regularly for a time of warm fellowship and shared joy. Seniors enjoy uplifting conversation, devotionals, and receive food items to help meet their daily needs. The church also offers Bible studies that help members grow deeper in their faith and understanding of God’s Word. Their worship services, led by a dedicated worship team, create a heartfelt atmosphere of praise and gratitude. In addition, members work together in their church garden, where fresh vegetables are grown and shared with congregational families to supplement their food supplies. Every year, the church joyfully gathers for a Harvest Festival, a celebration of God’s goodness and provision, a time for worship, gratitude, and community togetherness.

SERVING RURAL INDIA

Matthew Missions serves rural villages and towns in four districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. We provide bi-monthly support for orphans, lepers, widows, and the poor, focusing on housing, food, clothing, education, and medical care.

THE JOHN HOLT TOWNSEND ORPHANAGE HOME

This home houses forty-seven boys and girls, providing them with school tuition, uniforms, books, and medical treatment. While the ground floor was completed in 2018, the growing number of children has created a need for a second story.

Good News! The second floor of the orphanage is complete and ready to be painted. Soon the boys and girls will be separated and living in their permanent home.

GRACE HOME & THE PROTECTION WALL

Following severe flooding in 2026, the protective wall surrounding the entire compound was destroyed, leaving the church, orphanage, and Grace Home vulnerable to poisonous snakes and other dangers from the surrounding fields. Temporary barriers made of carpet material were erected to help keep out snakes, rodents, and other vermin until a permanent solution could be implemented.

Construction of a new compound wall is now underway. Once completed, the wall will provide lasting protection for the children, staff, church members, and residents of Grace Home. This vital project will help safeguard everyone from cobras and other threats, allowing the ministry to continue serving the community in a safe and secure environment.

REACHING THE ISOLATED

Pastor David and our youth leaders recently visited the lonely forest people in four different areas. Nearly eighty people were blessed by gifts of blankets and saris for the elders, and toys, chocolates, and biscuits for the children, alongside the preaching of the Gospel.
